Dogs understand the inherent value of scent without being taught. They live in a world of odor. In Noseworks, we balance that natural desire to sniff it out, with an ability to indicate to us they have found what we asked. We begin with searching for food, and then pair food with a specific odor( birch). We offer the class for fun and mental exercise in the winter months, including a special class just for seniors dogs, and we occasionally offer prep for an ORT (Odor Recognition Test) when there is enough interest.
